It is impossible to expose corruption in the Ayb School: Father Mesrop Aramian

Mesrop Aramian’s explanations and expectations regarding the conflict between the Ministry of Education and Ayb School

Criticism, allegations including those concerning the damage to the field of comprehensive education. The name of Mesrop Aramian, co-founder of the Ayb Education Foundation, was often mentioned in the conflict that arose a few weeks ago between the Ministry of Education and the Ayb School. In response to these allegations, Aramian notes that his goal is to create a high-quality educational environment, the proof of which is one of the most important achievements of Armenia in the field of education - Ayb School. “The school is, first and foremost, a spirit and a content, and the content is an educational program called the Araratian Baccalaureate. The program was so highly praised that it was proposed to make it accessible to children in Artsakh and Armenia, so the state co-financed it,” he explains.

According to Fr. Mesrop, Armenia has invested rather modest means in the creation of this program, while other countries invest tens of times more in similar programs. “We are a small nation and live in an extremely competitive world. Our wealth is our human talent, and we have no right to ruin it with a low-quality education,” he says.

In this context, the co-founder of the school adds that “Ayb” is a unique environment with its creative potential, with the ideology of freedom of education. “A unique star team gathered here not only from Armenia, but from the whole world as well. “Ayb” has been engaged in a revolution in education for 12 years. Our goal was not to create a school, but to spread our culture of education throughout Armenia,” he emphasizes. Find the details in the program “Paradigm”.
