Edmon Marukyan: the worse the people live, the greater the number of RPA votes

We must inculcate in society the awareness that while you are taking a pre-election bribe then, for example, the Minister of Finance could easily take a bribe.

This system keeps the people in poverty in order to buy the votes of these people and to be reproduced. If a person complains about his life and power all day and then sells his voice for 10.000 drams, then there is no excuse. Such a position is expressed by MP, “Yelk” bloc member Edmon Marukyan, referring to the latest parliamentary elections. “I have no evidence that someone under the threat of a gun was forced to take a bribe and vote for the Republican Party,” the MP emphasizes.

Edmond Marukyan agrees that there have been violations in the parliamentary elections, but the bloc has no strong evidence to appeal to the Constitutional Court. “We all know that there was a distribution of pre-election bribes, but there is no one who would give testimony saying, I have taken bribes, no one who admits he has given bribes,” Edmond Marukyan explains. The MP defines pre-election bribe as “a system that works with the accuracy of Swiss watches”. The details of the conversation in the program “Paradigm”.
